Summary
The center barrel connector of an RCA plug is typically filled with plastic which makes it potentially easy to break off if the cable is plugged into an audio jack on a receiver, speaker, or other device. The photo below shows a broken center post.

If the center post breaks off in an RCA audio port, it can be difficult to remove.
RCA Center Pin Extraction Method
The diagram below shows a possible method of removing a stuck RCA plug pin connector. It’s most important to work slowly and precisely so as not to drill through the speaker electronics or damage the plug receptacle.

In some instances, the motion of the drill bit may also help with extraction. However, you may need a special tool to remove the stuck center post.
